Fix Target Packages is configured multiple times Cydia

The latest Cydia installer has lot of new features including two brand new repositories as default. These two repos are Packix and Chariz. It is great addition as you will be able to find lot of new Cydia tweaks and apps inside these two Cydia repositories. For instance, Filza is also available in one of these repos.

As always, Cydia is free, though the apps and tweaks inside it may require payment. It is legal to use Cydia, but not necessarily cool to use the apps and tweaks it makes available (cool with the developer of the original app, especially when you are bypassing controls to get access to premium content).

As you would be aware of the fact that Coolstar has recently released an upgrade for Cydia Installer. However, after that update, users on iOS 11, 11.1.2, 11.2, 11.3 and 11.3.1 on iPhone 7 Plus, X, 8 Plus, SE, iPad Mini and Air are facing error that reads “Target Packages is configured multiple times”. This makes it impossible to do anything with the installer.

  1. Hi,

Chariz is the culprit but Cydia does not allow me to delete this repo (no delete option). What can I do? I installed filzaescaped but every time I clicked on any directory it appears to be empty but I know it’s not.

    Please help! Thanks so much.
