Now that iOS 13 is released, let us check out the options available to users for jailbreaking this latest iOS version using Chimera or Unc0ver (uncover).
Since Apple iOS 13 is a very closed system and does not allow or severely limits customization. In that scenario, users who want to customize their iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, 11 Pro Max, X, 8 Plus, 7, 6S Plus, SE, iPad Air or iPad Mini, then they need to jailbreak it first.
Now the question arises: is it possible to jailbreak iOS 13 using Chimera or unc0ver tools? Let us find out the answer!
The good news is that it is possible or it will very soon possible to jailbreak iOS 13. The reason behind this is that since iOS 13 is finally available to public, the jailbreakers will now be interested to release their beta tools or update them to support iOS 13 jailbreak.
It is because that since iOS 12.4 is currently the previous latest version, and both Chimera and unc0ver tools support jailbreaking iOS 12.4. So now with final/public release of iOS 13, the developer behind Chimera and unc0ver will be for sure working out on finding the exploit in this latest iOS 13 to utilize it for jailbreak.
If you rely too much on jailbreak Cydia or Sileo tweaks and are on iOS 12.4, then I would recommend to stay there and do not update to iOS 13 until either Chimera or unc0ver is updated to support the iOS 13 untethered jailbreak.
I repeat, do not update to iOS 13, because you won’t be able to downgrade to iOS 12.4 since it is not signed anymore. You have to sacrifice the features of iOS 13 until public jailbreak tool is released for iOS 13.
Stay tuned with us for more updates on Chimera/unc0ver (uncover) tool updates for iOS 13 jailbreak support.
UPDATE: The beta version of unc0ver has been released by the developer Pwn20wnd and you can get it from the unc0ver website.
