NGXPlay is a Cydia tweak that allow you add any app to Apple CarPlay. Be it Google maps or Waze, thanks to NGXPlay for iOS 11, iOS 11.3.1 and iOS 11.4, it can be achieved.
Although iOS 11.3.1 and iOS 11.4 jailbreak is available, thanks to Electra, many people prefer not to jailbreak. If you are also one of them, then good news is that you can have NGXPlay Cydia tweak without jailbreak in iOS 11.

CarPlay is intended to make it so you can use the functionality of your iPhone while you are in the car, with your car’s big screen, speakers, and system. Presumably, using your iPhone through your car is a way to make it more safe while driving.
By default, Apple does not allow any incompatible app inside its CarPlay. For those who are still unfamiliar with CarPlay, it is Apple’s application that can be used in Car multimedia. It lacks certain important apps like Waze and Google Play.
Steps to Install NGXPlay for iOS 11 – 11.3.1 – 11.4 without Jailbreak
CarPlay brings your iPhone to car multimedia screen from where you can easily use it. However, without your favorite apps there, it will be of no use. To get most out of CarPlay, follow the steps below to download NGXPlay for iOS 11/11.3.1/11.4 without jailbreak:
- Download iNoCydia.
- Launch Cydia.
- Search for “NGXPlay”.
- Proceed with installation.
When installation of NGXPlay for iOS 11 without jailbreak is completed, go to configure it from Settings app. There you can select any installed app on your iPhone to be shown in CarPlay, including Google Maps.
Please note that NGXPlay can also be installed on jailbroken devices (BigBoss Repo).
CarBridge
CarBridge is an alternative to NGXPlay, but to our knowledge, it does require jailbreak to install. It is known to provide access to close to the same features as NGXPlay.
